Cucut and Giants of chicago

Curated by Vanessa Smith, interim curator at Harold Washington College, and
presented by CuCut Bar & Biz, this exhibit features digital photographic pieces of
interwoven realty and fiction of outstanding skyscrapers in Chicago. According to
Smith, “these rising icons are transformed in the theatrical space of the photograph,
with blurs and splashes of color. The multiplicity of viewpoints March depicts in
these works gives the buildings an extra dimension. The imagery evokes a sense of
awe for these monumental structures and encourages a longer look at the urban
landscape.”

The exhibition “Giants of Chicago” is part of the cultural program of Cucut.

Cucut Biz was founded in 1929 in the heart of Hostafrancs, Barcelona district of Sants-Montjuïc, which serves Mediterranean dishes as well as a ray of wines and cavas.

This cultural space includes exhibitions of recognized artists in the fields of design and visual arts, literature and music.
